Qu'est-ce que DN, NPS et Schedule?

DN

Diametre Nominal

DN est la designation metrique des tuyaux selon ISO 6708.

NPS

Nominal Pipe Size

NPS est la designation imperiale en Amerique du Nord.

SCH

Pipe Schedule

Le schedule determine l'epaisseur de paroi. De SCH 5 a SCH 160.

Notes Importantes

  • 1.STD = SCH 40 (jusqu'a DN 250). Plus grand: 9.53 mm fixe.
  • 2.XS = SCH 80 (jusqu'a DN 200). Plus grand: 12.70 mm fixe.
  • 3.XXS: tube standard le plus lourd. Non defini a partir de DN 350.
  • 4.OD est constant pour tous les schedules.
Calcul

Formule Poids Tube

W = (OD - WT) x WT x 0.02466

W = Poids (kg/m), OD = Diam. Ext. (mm), WT = Ep. Paroi (mm)

Exemple:

DN100, SCH 40: OD = 114.3 mm, WT = 6.02 mm

W = (114.3 - 6.02) x 6.02 x 0.02466 = 16.07 kg/m
